Well what to say About Us (Me) as it can only be about me since there is only me.
Hmm now where to start.
How about how I came up with the sub domain gannetweb.Well the name of the sub domain is from my nickname when I was a child. I kept coming back for more food. *laughs* And the web part, well thats becasue I like doing web desgin. Oh and also when I was small I could sound like a gannet too. :)
I built my first website in 1997 using nothing more than windows notepad and mostly copying and pasting the html tags, well it worked.Sort of!!!
Now I use dreamweaver and ensure the website is standards compliant with the W3C Specifications, both the html and the css.
Some of you out there may wonder why I still use plain basic html 4.01 Transitional and not xhtml. Well there is a reason! Html and css do everything I want and there is no need for xhtml on this site or at least there isn't until they make xhtml do something that html 4.01 Transitional dosen't, that I then want on my site. |
